We had a blast exploring the town and going on thrilling adventures. We hiked up to the stunning cliffs and got the most insane view of the ocean crashing against the rocks. And let's not forget about the wicked birdwatching we did! It was like being in an episode of Planet Earth. Our group had the entire place to ourselves, which meant we could party and have a blast without anyone ruining the vibe. Best vacay ever!
The only thing we would've loved is if the cottage had a killer sound system. We wanted to crank up the tunes and dance all night long.

We had a blast exploring Gardenstown and chillin' by the seaside. The best part was hitting up the local hangouts - the awesome skate park and the cool beach bar where we partied all night! It was dope having the whole place to ourselves and being able to do whatever we wanted. Definitely a sick spot for young people like us.
The only thing we wished for was a banging sound system in the cottage. We wanted to crank up the tunes and have epic dance parties, but there wasn't a proper speaker setup.

I absolutely loved the charming and cozy decoration of the cottage. The floral wallpaper and vintage furniture created a warm and nostalgic atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate around the cottage. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the cottage, with no stairs to worry about and everything conveniently located on the ground floor.
I would have appreciated a wider range of activities and amenities tailored specifically for senior guests. It would have been nice to have a dedicated senior-friendly program or some organized activities that catered to the needs and interests of older individuals.

Our stay at Ellie-Jo Cottage was fantastic! We received great value for our money with a spacious room that had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to the charming seawall and surrounded by picturesque east coast villages. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home.
One thing that could be improved is the breakfast option.

The views from the cottage were absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of walking trails and birdwatching spots nearby. Having a washer and dryer in the cottage was incredibly convenient, allowing us to clean our clothes after long days of exploring.
The kitchen utensils were of poor quality and the lack of a welcome pack was a letdown. The access to the terrace was dangerous and there was no handrail, making it difficult to enjoy the supposed sea views.

The sunset from the harbour was absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors that took my breath away. The cottage provided ample space for my family to relax and cook our own meals, and we loved being close to the Gardenstown seawall. The washer and dryer were a lifesaver, and having dishes and pots and pans made cooking a breeze. We were thrilled to have partial views of the water from two of the windows. The town itself was like something out of a postcard, with its picturesque streets and friendly locals. It was the perfect base for our outdoor activities like walking and birdwatching, although a car was necessary to explore further. We appreciated that the hotel offered basic meals, and our stay in Seatown felt private and cozy. our experience was super enjoyable and we would highly recommend this spot to others!
